Funding from the Asda Foundation for a community tool library

27th October 2023, Melrose, Scotland.

Bright Green Nature is delighted to receive funding from the Asda Foundation to support the creation of a community tool library.  This resource will be offered from early 2024, on a loan basis, to applicants of the charity’s ‘Wild Your Space’ Microfund who do not have access to garden tools and as such, this will support them in achieving the objectives of their project and the Microfund.

About the Microfund

Bright Green Nature’s ‘Wild Your Space’ Microfund is a unique grant for families, households, individuals and schools, in the Scottish Borders, who wish to boost biodiversity in their gardens or spaces , in a way which is sustainable and allows connectivity with other habitats.  The fund is open for applicants on a quarterly basis and is competitive.  To Bright Green Nature’s knowledge, no other grant is available which funds nature restoration at this scale.
