Bright Green Nature and the Haining Charitable Trust have been awarded funding from NatureScot’s Nature Restoration Fund to develop the wetland area at the top of the loch across to the Deer Park stream and marsh area. We hope that this will maintain and develop habitat for vulnerable species such as the protected Great Crested Newt. Have a look at our presentation here which explains what we plan to do.
