Bright Green Nature is developing an ambassador programme to bring the idea of small scale rewilding to as many local gardens and small spaces as possible in the Scottish Borders. Our aim is to create wildlife corridors across our communities and support and connect homes and schools along the rewilding journey.
We offer our ambassadors opportunities to connect, learn and communicate with others on the importance of rewilding through workshops, informal gatherings and other networking opportunities. Our programme is designed to be flexible and to evolve to suit the needs of our ambassadors – in their context and from their starting point. Whether you are interested in learning how to talk to your neighbour about the benefits of nature-friendly gardening or if you have visions of turning your whole community into a bountiful oasis of native biodiversity, we’d love to hear from you!
We believe that grass roots rewilding has the potential to restore vibrant ecosystems, empower local communities and create a sustainable future where nature and people thrive together.
