Mark joins Bright Green Nature from the Glacier Trust, bringing a wealth of experience in environmental leadership, community engagement, climate resilience, and partnership working. His career has focused on nature recovery, sustainable land management, and community-led environmental action, with a strong record of building collaborative relationships across the public, private and charitable sectors.
With a deep appreciation for the natural world, Mark is especially inspired by native wildlife – with the otter a firm favourite for its playful nature and ability to move between land and water. As a Yorkshireman, he also enjoys time on the moors, and bringing that same sense of connection to landscapes and place into his work.
